Bakugou Family

Masaru, Mitsuki and Katsuki Bakugou

When fans got introduced to the Bakugou Family, a part of them thought like All Might above and another one concluded that this family isn’t an ordinary one. Let’s dive into Bakugou’s family atmosphere.

1. Their names.

Surname: Bakugou means powerful bomb.

Masaru: means victory. In other languages the male equivalents of this name are Katsu, Victor, Nicholas, Nicolo, Nike, etc.

Mitsuki: mitsu is shine, light, bright and ki means self. Similar female names over the world are Ailine, Aleanor, Berta, Bianca, Cassandra, Elane, Elea, Elektra, Helen, Kanchan, Lainie and more.

Katsuki: a mixture of Masuri and Mitsuki. Katsu means victory or to win and kiself. So, we could say that the Bakugou descendant has inherited all the good features of personality of both parents, judging at least by name.

2. Their Quirks.

Masaru: Acid Sweat. The sweat from his palms is oxidizing and can make an explosion as a result of hit.

Mitsuki: Glycerin. Her cells produce glycerin and she finds it as solution to skin problems. Mitsuki’s quirk is the reason why she looks so young despite her age.

Katsuki: Explosion.                              Chemistry time!
In general:
Glycerin + Nitric acid = Nitroglycerin

In Katsuki’s case:
Glycerin + Acid = Something like nitroglycerin (produced by palms)

Masaru and Mitsuki got the perfect quirk mix without wanting to and maybe Endeavor is secretly jealous.

3. How did Masaru and Mitsuki fall in love?

It wasn’t among the traditional kinds of love. Mitsuki met Masaru at his work place. She was astonished by the job Masaru had – he was a designer. She became love interested in him and was demanding – she stalked Masaru and wanted him to say yes to a date with her which in the end happened. Their relationship progressed to getting married (suspecting Mitsuki proposing to Masaru) and finally having Katsuki.

4. Parenthood.

Parenthood isn’t easy anyway, but the society defining the person by their quirk makes it harder. Masaru and Mitsuki don’t approve Katsuki’s attitude towards people – looking down on them. They don’t think their son deserves special admiration due to his quirk, but he receives it. Katsuki has no  feeling for respect to people – he calls his mum old lady and threatens to kill her. From Masaru we understand that Mistuki and Katsuki have fights but not only verbal ones. Katsuki’s dad can’t really be heard by his family when convincing them not to fight. Mitsuki doesn’t find any other way to deal with her son’s self-confidence apart from using force or yelling. However, her care of  and worries about Katsuki are obvious. Katsuki’s parents do their best to support him and each other as well as make him behave a bit more decently.
