Shinso is Aizawa’s son?

Is Shinso bloodly related to Aizawa?

When Shinso transfers to the hero course,  Shouto Todoroki will be bothered day and night and will finally end up like this again:

But now, seriously, what makes people think Shinso is actually an Aizawa?

1. Appearance.

Shinso and Aizawa definitely aren’t twins, but they share a similar feature: they both have tired eyes and dark circles.

2. Attitude.

Aizawa’s debut: While being at his sleeping bag, he tells Midoriya, Ochaco and Tenya that hero course isn’t a place for playing friends.
Shinso’s debut: Declaring war to the hero course.
Later in the story he says he doesn’t want to make friends.

3. Quirk similarity.

Quirk: Erasure / deactivates the person’s quirk by looking at them
Quirk: Brainwashing / controls his target when they respond to him verbally

In common: They have a condition for activating their quirk which is inappropraite for fighting.

4. Their relationship.

Aizawa sees himself in Shinso – longing for being a hero but not sure what type of hero he can be due to the unsuitable for battle combat quirk.
With getting a master, Shinso sees a ray of light in his darkness – a hope for fulfilling his dream.

5. Interests in common.

They both like cats!

Why CAN’T they be a father and a son?

1. Age gap.

Aizawa is 15 years older than Shinso. I truly doubt Aizawa had a serious relationship with a girl in his mid teens when he wasn’t very sociable. His strongest relationships at this time were with his classmate friends Present Mic and Oboro Shirakumo.

2. They hadn’t known each other.

Aizawa saw Shinso for first at the UA. He took a note of him during the UA Festival and decided to help him on the path of becoming a hero – he started training him and gave him a chance to transfer to the hero course.
If Aizawa were Shinso’s relative, he would have trained him because of Shinso’s dream and he wouldn’t be in a general studies class.
